EVLK Series E‑LIFT™ Electric Chain Hoists are electric-powered hoists for lifting and lowering loads in industrial applications. They combine a permanent-magnet motor with variable-frequency-drive control to provide dual-speed lifting and adjustable low-speed control at the pendant.
EVLK hoists are available in capacities from ½ ton to 5 tons and can be installed as stationary or mobile units.
EVLK Series Features
Depending on the model and configuration, EVLK electric chain hoists provide:
- Dual-speed lifting with infinitely variable low-speed control at the pendant
- Permanent-magnet synchronous motor technology
- Variable-frequency-drive control for smooth lifting and lowering
- Mechanical braking and overload protection
- Upper and lower limit switches
- Cast-aluminum housing with cooling fins
- IP55-rated hoist and IP65-rated pendant
- Electro-galvanized load chain

Safety Notice: EVLK hoists are designed to lift and lower loads only. Do not use an EVLK hoist to lift, support, or transport people. Do not exceed the rated capacity or use the hoist in an explosive atmosphere.

Model availability, lifting speed, lift height, electrical supply, pendant voltage, and suspension configuration vary by market and order configuration. Use the model label and applicable product documentation to confirm the specifications for the hoist being installed or serviced.
Choose a Suspension and Travel Configuration
EVLK hoists may be configured for different installation and load-movement requirements.

A qualified person must confirm that the supporting structure, beam, trolley, and all connected equipment are rated for the combined weight of the hoist, load, and applicable safety factor.

Pendant Control and Load Handling
The standard pendant provides raise and lower control with an Emergency Stop. Hoists installed with a motorized trolley may use a four-button pendant for hoist and trolley travel control.
Use the pendant’s variable low-speed control for careful positioning. Maintain a clear view of the load and travel path, and avoid side loading, diagonal pulling, excessive inching, or running the hoist against its limit switches.

Safety Features
EVLK chain hoists include safety features that help protect the operator, load, and equipment:
- Mechanical brake: Helps hold the load when power is removed.
- Overload protection: Helps prevent lifting above the approved capacity.
- Upper and lower limit switches: Stop travel at the ends of the approved chain travel range.
- Emergency Stop: Disconnects the control circuit to stop operation.
- Hook safety latch: Helps retain the load connection when used correctly.
Safety devices do not replace proper inspection, correct rigging, or safe operating practices. Do not bypass, disable, or modify these features.
Inspection, Troubleshooting, and Service
